REACH Knows Health IT

As the Regional Extension Center for Minnesota and North Dakota, REACH has helped over 3000 providers, 100 hospitals and 180 clinics achieve meaningful use. Currently, we provide three fee-for-consulting services: Privacy & Security Risk Assessments, Meaningful Use Audit & Attestation Preparation and Electronic Health Record Efficiency Analysis.

For more information about both services, contact Bill Sonterre at: or 612-584-7902.

Privacy & Security Risk Assessments

Security breaches are costly for organizations and customers alike. Additionally, HIPAA privacy and security requirements are embedded in CMS Medicare and Medicaid EHR Meaningful Use incentive programs. Protect your practice with HIPAA privacy and security readiness assessment/evaluation reviews, risk assessments, and disaster recovery plans.

Meaningful Use Audit & Attestation Preparation

Demonstrating Meaningful Use (MU) correctly is a highly detailed and daunting task for many organizations. REACH offers Meaningful Use Audit Readiness and Attestation Preparation to ease the process. Gain access to sample policies, procedures, report samples, and workflow documentation to support you in this work.

Electronic Health Record Efficiency Analysis

Electronic Health Record (EHRs) are here to stay—they are mandated by the government—and REACH offers assistance with EHR selection, implementation, and efficiency analysis in addition to developing a plan to help your practice adopt and implement EHRs.
