“If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you get there?” This old saw is particularly relevant to HIT initiatives. Too often clinics and small hospitals start acquiring or implementing technology without figuring out why they need it or what they expect the technology to do.
To help prevent the Ready, Fire!, Aim syndrome, this webinar will review methods for how to set goals that will provide the guidelines for successful HIT projects. Listeners will learn how to set Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based goals. We’ll also provide examples of how completing a SMART Goal exercise helped later phases of EHR projects run more smoothly.
Administrators, CEOs, CFOs, CIOs/IT staff, DoN/nursing staff, physicians/providers and project managers.
