The Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is a voluntary program established by Congress, but administered individually by each State and territory. While it is assumined that every State will have an Incentive Program in the future, the preparation for the program varies from State to State. Below is a link that has information on the estimated date each State intends to begin accepting registrations for their Medicaid EHR Incentive Program.These dates are provided to CMS by the States, and this list is updated monthly. Even States that are listed as "Unknown" are progressing toward program launch; however, they have not provided CMS with an estimated launch date.
