William Sonterre
William (Bill) Sonterre, REACH Regional Coordinator/HIT Consultant, provides health information technology (HIT) services to assist clients with their electronic health records (EHR) planning, implementation and achieving the meaningful use of their EHR.

The experience you need
Bill has more than 30 years of HIT leadership, consulting and business experience working with provider organizations, both large and small, throughout Minnesota. He has developed numerous strategic and operational IT plans, conducted EHR readiness assessments, and directed systems evaluations and implementation projects.
REACH clients will benefit from Bill’s expertise in health care business operations and process redesign. Bill is a subject matter expert regarding EHR planning, implementation, meaningful use and vendor products.
Bill has extensive experience with the HIPAA security and privacy regulations and compliance projects. For years Bill has been a driving force supporting health care providers in achieving the state and federal vision of a fully electronic health care environment by 2015.
