With more than 18 years as a family physician and IT professional, Dr. Kleeberg has played a key role in the implementation of several patient portal, ambulatory, and hospital EHR produced by Epic, McKesson, Centricity and Eclipsys. One implementation won the HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence. He has experience in EHR selection, physician engagement, workflow redesign, clinical content management, clinical decision support and EHR governance.
As a board-certified family physician who has worked in both rural and metropolitan health systems, his expertise in providing guidance and insight to the implementation and executive teams at the facility will be valuable to REACH clients. He understands the concerns of the nursing staff and physicians and can communicate well with them. The same is true for the information technology staff. He is able to help each side understand the needs of the other and build lines of communication. Well-versed in the use of EHR, Paul can assist staff in navigating disruptive workflow changes to arrive at smooth, efficient processes and achieve meaningful use.
